Battery & Solar Performance Disclaimer

At Streamline Solar, we’re committed to providing honest advice and realistic expectations about
the performance of your solar energy system. Every property, installation and household is
different, meaning actual results will vary depending on several factors.

Estimated Energy Savings

Any projected savings, return on investment (ROI), payback periods or energy generation
figures provided before installation are estimates only. These calculations are based on
available information, historical weather data and your estimated energy consumption.
Actual performance may differ due to factors including:
● Weather conditions and seasonal changes
● Roof orientation, pitch and shading
● Energy usage patterns
● Changes in electricity prices
● System maintenance
● Future changes to government policies or regulations
Streamline Solar cannot guarantee specific financial savings or energy generation.

Battery Storage Performance

Battery storage systems are designed to maximise the use of the electricity your solar panels
generate. However, battery performance will naturally vary depending on:
● Daily energy consumption
● Solar generation
● Battery capacity
● Charging and discharge cycles
● Ambient temperatures
● Natural battery degradation over time
Like all rechargeable batteries, storage capacity will gradually reduce throughout the product’s
lifespan. This is normal and is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty terms where applicable.

Export Tariffs

Some customers may be eligible to receive payments for exporting unused electricity back to
the National Grid through schemes such as the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG).
Please note:
● Export tariffs are offered by energy suppliers, not by Streamline Solar.
● Eligibility, payment rates and terms vary between suppliers.
● Export rates are subject to change without notice.
● Acceptance onto an export tariff is at the discretion of your chosen electricity supplier.
● Streamline Solar cannot guarantee acceptance or future export income.
We recommend reviewing the latest tariffs available from your energy provider before making
any financial decisions based on export payments.

Grid Supply Disclaimer

Installing solar panels or battery storage does not automatically make your property
independent from the National Grid.
Unless specifically designed and installed as an off-grid system with appropriate backup
equipment, your property will continue to rely on grid electricity whenever solar generation or
stored battery power is insufficient.
For safety reasons, most standard grid-connected solar systems automatically shut down during
a power outage. This protects utility engineers working on the electricity network. Backup power
during a grid outage is only available where compatible battery systems and backup
functionality have been specified and installed.

Product Warranties

All equipment supplied by Streamline Solar is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject
to the manufacturer’s individual terms and conditions.
Warranty periods vary depending on the products selected and do not cover damage resulting
from misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modifications, extreme weather events beyond
product specifications or lack of reasonable maintenance.
Information Accuracy
The information provided on this website is intended for general guidance only and should not
be considered financial, legal or tax advice.
Customers should seek independent advice where necessary before making investment
decisions relating to renewable energy systems, financing or government incentive schemes.
